Come prepared to help clean up your area of Lockwood on April 12 from 10am-12:30pm with food and music afterwards. This is a great opportunity to associate with Lockwood community folks and neighbors and help clean up part of the Lockwood area.
The Earth Clean up Day/Community wide clean up activity was initiated by the Lockwood Image and Media Group. The Image & Media Group was formed from the Oct 2013 MEDA Community Meeting that reached over 250 people. Community members will meet at the Lockwood Little League field and pick up garbage bags, safety vest and instructions on clean up areas before returning back to the fields around 12:30pm.
As it will also be a fundraiser for the Lockwood PTA and Lions Lair, there will be food provided to purchase of which all the proceeds will go to the new Lockwood Lions Lair 2.0 project.
Come and be a part of your community in helping to clean up the image of Lockwood! Bring your friends, neighbors and coworkers in a couple hours of community service.
A Goal of 100 or more people is planned for the community wide service project! Come and be a part of your community!
