Billings Livestock Releases Sale Stats

Billings Livestock Commission has released their 2012 sales stats for their horse sales.  As BLS is one of the biggest and busiest stock yards in the western United States, monthly horse sales draws many from across the country to Billings, Montana for quality horse sales from the quality of horses, mules and ponies as well as other sales that BLS provides.  The following stats were released by Billings Livestock Commission, located in Billings, MT off Interstate 90 and 94. Other sales included at BLS are cattle (weekly), sheep, pigs, goats and more throughout the year.


This is what was released for Horse Sales:

The stats are in!   We sold 9,126 head in 2012 – an average of 830 head per sale!
